Can I play with more than one other household?
Yes! None of the games are literally connected to each other, so you can play with as many other households as you like. You would each need to either buy the single household games or friends and family multi household. We then suggest video calling each other and waiting for everyone to access the game to click ‘Begin’
How does it work once I have purchased the game?
You will receive an email with your username, log in and a link. If you copy your password and click on the link, you will be able to login and your game will open. Don’t worry, the time wont start on your game until you click “Begin”.
How long does my link and login work for?
Your unique link and login has no expiry, however you will have limited downloads depending which game you have bought. For a Single Household it will be one, or for the Friends and Family Multi Household it will be two.
Do I need a printer?
Nope, we didn’t want you to worry about running out of printer ink, so our game is TOTALLY online.
What do I need to play the game?
You will just need a laptop, phone, tablet or any form of mobile device, and possibly a pen and paper for your workings out.
How does the Friends and Family Multi Household work?
The Friends and Family Multi Household allows you to play with one other household. This is in case you should want to race friends or family in another household. You might choose to play as a team, in which case we recommend using video calling. The games are not directly linked to each other giving you the flexibility to play together as a team or competitively. The family and friends multi household buys you two games for two different households via one login. You will receive an email with a link and log in details for your whole team, you can share this login with the other household, both can login with the same credentials. There will be 2 downloads available, 1 for you and one for the other household. Once you click on this, you will be taken into the game, these downloads will go once you have clicked so only do so when you’re ready to play.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately as this is a digitally produced game and the link is sent directly to your email, we cannot offer any refunds once the game has been purchased.
Do I need a strong internet connection?
Not especially, we use video content so as long as you can normally watch You Tube/ Vimeo videos, you should be fine!
Can I return to play the game again?
You get a certain amount of downloads per purchase, once those downloads are used, you wont be able to play the game again.
What if I run out of time?
We have decided to put time limits on the games, purely to get the adrenaline going and encourage that sense of urgency you would get in a live Escape Game. However, we still want you to be able to play the whole game in whatever time you wish. So don’t worry, your game won’t end if your time runs out. However the timer will stop, so if you’d still like to keep track of your time, make sure you have a timer to hand.
